   I worked the wedding in Scranton with you yesterday. Thank you very much for your generous gift, but I wish I was there to refuse it. We were just doing our job and the simple thank you from you and Mike was more than enough. Next time you guys are up this way, shoot me an email and I’ll take you out for a drink. 3. I’ve performed in three musical shows with sound by Steve E. I’ve played reeds on a CD Steve recorded and mixed. I’ve been in the audience for at least a dozen shows with him in charge of the sound–outdoor summer things, indoor serious venues, big bands to understated singers working a with just a jazz trio. And in every case I was amazed the mix: warm, full, nuanced, mellow-without-mush, edgy-without-noise, perfect colors, perfect modulations… Sound enhancement is not just technology. It is an art, an art of hearing the music and helping the musicians sound as good as they can. Steve E is the artist.

4. Hey Steve,
   I saw your post in the Philadelphia Recording Community Facebook group about looking for live engineers, and I am interested in any positions you may have available! I am currently the sound engineer for the Venice Island Performance Arts & Recreation Center in Manayunk. It is a brand new, state of the art facility that holds 250 people. On top of that I graduated from Temple with a degree focus in audio recording and engineering. I am a young, ambitious, and eager individual who is always looking to learn new things and expand my horizons.    You will recall I am the Treasure of the Union Athletic Association in Lansdowne. Lansdowne’s 125th anniversary is in 2018 and the UAA wants to really step up the July 4th event with a band, better lighting, more sound, better fireworks. Will probably bankrupt us. Bob Beach says “You ‘da man”. I’d like to stop over sometime and get some very preliminary numbers, options, etc. When would be a good day, evening and time. Look forward to hearing from you.
